About

My name is Thomas Gassmann.

People and aviation are my passions.

I have gained extensive and valuable experience in the

aviation industry over the last decades.

Whether as a helicopter pilot, in various senior positions with HEMS operators or as a consultant for a variety of helicopter operators, civil and military, national and international.

The combination of my operational flying skills and my business background and experience often proves to be a decisive key factor for success.

I am goal-oriented and prepared to challenge the status quo. Through many years in the Netherlands, I have acquired the down-to-earth mentality, ambition and Dutch courage, commercial spirit and sense of humor.

By working projects with professionals from more than 30 countries, I have gained a significant amount of international experience. Examples include setting up and developing the HEMS organisation in the Netherlands and developing tailor-made training programs with and for helicopter pilots, worldwide.

As an experienced speaker (D, E, NL), I am offered the opportunity to exchange ideas and to speak at several helicopter symposia, exhibitions and conferences in Europe, Brazil, Asia, Mexico, Singapore and the USA.

What to expect?

My aviation consultancy work covers operations, strategy, business development, simulation and training, and marketing & sales.

One focus is the development and operation of HEMS, internationally.

I like to meet my clients trustfully and at eye level. Openness, honesty and mutual respect create a positive working atmosphere and are the pillars of a contemporary corporate culture.

I am optimistic, distinct and direct, without losing sight of the personal needs of those involved.
A good team performance of the employees is the basis for every successful company and business success.

I believe in a positive, transparent and pro-active attitude and mindset. For me, partnerships are designed for the long term. The goal is to achieve significant results for the benefit of all parties involved.

I have worked in various leadership positions, including for DRF Luftrettung, ADAC HEMS Academy, ANWB Medical Air Assistance (NL) and the German Army Aviation.

A particularly close cooperation has also developed over the years among others with Airbus Helicopters, Lufthansa Aviation Training, Reiser Simulation & Training and the F.A.S.T.-Group.
